My name is Age Hartsuiker, artistic painter in profession. I work in the beautiful surroundings of Friesland (Holland) and show you my voyage as a freemason in the form of my paintings. For me, Freemasonry is a way of living mindful of life and a way to paint the things I experience. In this respect it is not my goal in life, but rather a aid and part of my life as an artist and freeason.
I work in the beautiful landscape of South-Eastern Friesland with her columned landscape, forests, estates, and grasslands. The atmosphere of the surrounding lands is one of peace and beauty, witch allows for many moments of realization in nature and man-made environment.

Beauty cab be blinding or even as consuming as the sun, but it can also be a form of impulse and encouragement. Beauty in the way I experience it makes me experience my surroundings as if it were for the first time every time I see them. The discovery of beauty has been and will always remain an exhilarating moment. I try to realize this moment in my works in order to share this moment with others. By being mindful of the new and beautiful, I find myself discovering already existing beauty everywhere, always, and at any given time.
